Virtual Journal Club – ThyGeNEXT / ThyramiR:  Utilizing “Markers that Matter” to assist in the Risk Assessment of Thyroid Nodules

On June 28th 2018, the Thyroid Head and Neck Cancer Foundation in NYC hosted its first virtual journal club. The session was broadcasted to doctors around the world, who were able to virtually join the discussion and actively participate in the session. This journal club featured Dr. Alidad Mireskandari, Ph.D. and Dr. Christina Narick, MD, leading scientists from Interpace Diagnositcs, who presented the company’s novel thyroid cancer diagnostic screens and reviewed multiple case studies. Interpace’s screening tools utilize molecular and genetic markers to improve the diagnosis of thyroid cancers,.
